Three Pages

Finally! Late this evening - just a short time before I normally run out of mental energy - I sat down and actually started a story I've wanted to begin for two or three months. Almost no editing, that's the best part. I don't know or care if the pages are any good: they exist - finally! - and I know more will follow. Eventually I'll review, fix and most likely trash this night's work. It won't matter because the beginning is underway; it's no longer just a static pile of thoughts and notes.

Finally the train is moving, and the scenery waiting for this journey's passage begins its unfolding.
